e think that your first study abroad experience should be in Spain. Why? Spain is a great study abroad destination. It has a rich history and an amazing variety of art and architecture. Voyager Study Abroad is the expert in multi-city study abroad. We are the only program that uses a hub city (home-away-from-home) where our participants keep their own room in a modern residence in an upscale Madrid neighborhood for the entire 30 days. We spend the majority of the time in the other cities on our itinerary, but unlike other multi-country programs, our participants do not travel with all their belongings from city-to-city. They can safely leave their belonging behind in their own room at the residence and take with them what they need. When we travel, our participants stay in first-class city-center accommodations and travel in style. We take three separate multi-day trips to each region in Spain and return to Madrid for a few days after each.
Not all classes have four walls and Spain is your classroom. We only offer classes that are enhanced by city-specific cultural and professional activities. Even better our classes are designed to enhance the participant’s experience abroad. All are professors have study abroad experience and are experts in the fields they teach. We have professors and staff that live in Spain. Beware of programs that offer dozens of classes that have nothing to do with the destinations that they visit. Why would you want to take a class that you could just as easily take at home? We offer five classes – Spanish for the Professions, Culture of Spain, International Business, Intercultural Communication and Global Marketing and Management.
Voyager Spain provides a cultural immersion experience unlike any other program. Our participants visit iconic landmarks including the Segrada Familia (Barcelona), Magic Fountain of Montjuïc (Barcelona), Alhambra (Granada), Mosque of Córdoba (Córdoba), Alcázar of Seville (Seville), Royal Palace of Madrid (Madrid), Park Güell (Barcelona), Seville Cathedral (Seville), Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid), Museo Nacional Del Prado (Madrid), City of Arts and Sciences (Valencia), Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao), Plaza Mayor (Madrid), Aqueduct of Segovia (Segovia), Alcázar of Segovia (Segovia), Gothic Quarter (Barcelona), El Escorial (San Lorenzo de El Escorial), Iglesia de Santo Tomé (Toledo) and the Toledo Cathedral (Toledo). No other program compares and if you are a soccer fan, only with Voyager Spain, will you visit the home of FC Barcelona – Camp Nou (Barcelona) and the home of Real Madrid CF – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (Madrid) in one program.
